I am a Mother, a Grandmother and a daughter. The times of our world scares me not only for myself but for my family and other women, children, parents and grandparents. I do not even like to watch the news anymore except for the weather because there is nothing but terrible things happening all over. Near our town which is too close a young girl earlier this year was walking on school campus & was raped and killed. This just broke my heart. The entire town was devastated. I was in a little coffee shop one morning when we heard a women screaming at 9:00 am. We ran out & there she stood with a little baby in her arms. Someone had just come up and robbed her of her purse. There are things like this happening all over. I realize that there are many men & women that are now carrying guns and the ccw permits but for me, I am afraid of guns even though I was raised around them. Then I went to an event at a high school and met a women that felt the same way that I did. My first thought was I need a pepper spray and a stun gun for ME! You know when I left there I actually felt a security that I had not felt before. Also there are times that my husband works nights. I have a pepper spray at the front door, in the kitchen. And I have a stun gun & a pepper spray at my bedside. I felt so great about this that I needed to share this with other women. There are options out there and we need to protect ourselves, our children and even out parents. Robbery, Rape and Assault do not DESCRIMINATE!! If you care about yourself, your family then please share this. Please Be Safe.....
